Melt away waterproof makeup – The body shop

Hello readers, this week I’m showing off a new product, I discovered in The body shop. I was so interested that I had buy it. Of course I love to let you know what I think of the  sumptuous cleansing butter with camomile extract.

It’s a solid cream that looks and feels like butter, so you have to keep it in a cool place. Don’t leave it in the sun. This cleansing butter rubs opens like an oil from the warmth of your hands, so it’s actually really relaxing to massage it on your skin. The camomile scent is really subtle and calming not to heavy especially if you massaging your face.

How to get (Waterproof) makeup off?

  • Because I have normal to dry skin I like to rinse my face with some water so my skin is a little more refreshed.
  • Secondly I take a towel to dip a little off so the cleansing butter will rub off easily, if you’re doing only your eye makeup use a tiny bit , if you have a full face of makeup on, you can massage all area’s with this but just close your eyes for safety.
  • If you’re done massaging and you look like a panda then you can take a wet towel and wash the butter and makeup away, is your skin dry after this cleansing butter put on your favorite day/night cream and rock that natural glowing face.

As you can see the minute you let it touch your skin it change from solid white to just a transparent glance. I recommend this product if you have normal/sensitive skin because it’s perfect for waterproof makeup and it’s super gentle. The price tag was €14,- for 90ml/2.7 OZ.

I love hearing from you!  What’s your makeup removing tip or product?
